so we wanted nick o'leary a whole heck of a lot. do you all think he would have gotten better coaching at miami with golden and co? maybe being a tight end yes! i think our system was more pro friendly, so the would've been a plus. but he did win a championship at fsu, so I'm sure he doesn't regret bypassing miami.

A lot of these kids would prefer the proper development to the next level. O'Leary was severely underutilized at FSU.

Had he been utilized and developed properly, he may have been a good one.

Title aside, I think most players would like to be utilized more than winning to a certain extent.

Walford was also nowhere near the rank that O'Leary was coming out of high school. O'Leary if I remember was a 5-star TE.

OLeary was more highly regarded out of high school than Walford. They had similar college careers, except OLeary won a **** of a lot more. Walford seems to be having the better pro career and looks to be emerging! Im actually not sure OLeary has done anything this year in the league. OLeary got to play for the better college team, Walford just scored!! I do think OLeary at Miami has a better career in college bc we seem to make it a focal point. So does that make OLearys production at fsu more impressive bc they don't highlight tight end the way we do? OLeary also had better wideouts to compete with for the rock. They also had better running backs, so they could run more. See we can go round and round with statistics.

I think our common ground is that we wanted both those guys. One came here and one went elsewhere. I also think we both believe that McTitty would look better in orange and green than puke red and gold.

Key is stocking top notch talent at all positions and creating crazy competition. This staff looking more and more like they are going to do it.

Recruiting has been decidedly dissapointing this cycle. What are you saying.
