Miami vs. Florida State Just Got A Little More Personal

You have to love rivalries, especially when the hate comes in the off-season.

The Miami Hurricanes don't take on the Florida State Seminoles until another three months, October 17th to be exact, but that is not stopping Florida State defensive back Ja'Bril Rawls from talking trash about the Hurricanes. Rawls was one of the three Seminoles to represent the school at the ACC Football Kickoff Media Days. He was asked a question about what particular game he is ready to play this upcoming season, and with no hesitation, he said against Miami with a side of hate, "I just hate 'em."

As the Hurricanes season gets closer day-by-day, I'm starting to feel like Miami is everybody's Super Bowl. There is going to be smack-talking all season long leading into the game from the Seminoles. On the other hand, Miami Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal emphasized to the team to let the game do the talking. Former Hurricanes defensive back Keionte Scott has a great quote for this situation: "Too much talking on the net, get in the field and do something."

Coming out of high school he was viewed as a three-star recruit. During his freshman season, Rawls redshirted after seeing limited playing time on the field after recording four tackles. This past season, he played a big role in the Seminoles defense, recording 40 tackles, two pass deflections, and one interception.

It is now safe to say that the Hurricanes are going into this game with a little bit more fire, and Rawls just made it much more personal. The Hurricanes will save their talking for after the game. When you're 0-2 against Miami, you probably shouldn't say much, but we've guessed wrong. Put this in the bookmarks and move on. Go Canes.

Yeah. He said Clemson did not go after the shiny toy QB and they will play who they have. Something like that. Was a shot at Miami. Another team I hope Miami can hang 1/2 the century mark on. Can't stand the guy.
