The Miami Hurricanes coaching staff has contacted 6-foot-6 UTRGV transfer junior guard Koree Cotton.
Cotton has spent all three of his seasons playing for different teams, including UTRGV, VMI, and Jacksonville State.
This past season, Cotton averaged 13.9 points, 2.5 assists, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.0 steals in 27.1 minutes per outing. He shot 47.4 percent from the field, 40.3 percent from deep, and 78.0 percent from the line.
Teams including USC, Kansas, High Point, DePaul, Miami, Ole Miss, and Providence have all reached out to the UTRGV transfer guard.
Cotton is a Miami native, playing his high school ball at Miami Southridge, where he signed with VMI as a no-star recruit in the Class of 2023.
