Waste of time. They won't give any answers to that.
I agree. But that's what "investigative journalism" is supposedly all about. A paper like The Herald has the resources. Apparently, they don't have the interest.

Not surprised. When I went to UM in the mid 60s, the two Miami daily newspapers cared more about dog racing and jai alai than UM hoops.

With only 9 scholarship players this season, Coach L needs to play all 9 players in every game. If not, a 7 man rotation will give out of gas in January.
Everyone needs to play and contribute in some way, shape or form for this team to be successful. A close game was good as the Canes did execute and makes shots late in the game. Of course, we expected a blowout but this was a good test.
Finally, just play Dewan Hernandez immediately. Last year, we as fans were asked to believe Coach L and the coaching staff about their innocence in the corruption case. No one on the coaching staff missed a game. This season, we are believing Dewan is innocent and he should be playing.
If Dewan is ineligible, the only things the NCAA can take away from MIami are a few wins. The school never forfeits any money as the NCAA wants people to believe the game never existed.
GO CANES.

Lucky, you are so right. We were asked to believe in Coach L's innocence and we did. Only fair that a player gets the same treatment. If Hernandez is ruled ineligible, we're not going anywhere anyway as a team so ... what would it really matter?

Without Hernandez, who would the #8 and #9 players be? Mack (if not injured) and who? With Hernandez, not so big a problem. We'd go 8 deep, and Mack would make 9.
