I think this is more proof that most writers just look at final scores when voting.

I agree with the Coaches poll, the Canes #6 @best. There's too much work yet to be done, but here we are, let's roll!
 
irrelevant now. Oregon / Penn State winner next weekend could jump us and even LSU could jump us again if they smoke Ole Miss.
