Miami fans are still on a high after their 75-66 victory against the No. 11 ranked North Carolina Tar Heels.
With fans super excited for tomorrow's game against the NC State Wolfpack, the Hurricanes might have another shot at climbing up the bracket. Before that, ESPN's Joe Lunardi updated his bracket this morning.
Lunardi has placed the Hurricanes as the No. 10 seed in the nation, after they were among the first four teams left out last week. Miami's win over the Tar Heels was a big deal, marking Jai Lucas's first real home game and a significant top-15 victory.
And Lunardi is definitely feeling the Hurricanes' energy...
Lunardi has the Hurricanes positioned in the southern part of the bracket, set to play in Oklahoma City against the No. 7 seed, Utah State. There’s also a chance for a second-round matchup against the No. 2 seed, the Houston Cougars, which would be a rematch from the 2022-23 season where the Hurricanes triumphed over the Cougars to reach the Elite Eight. This region also features UConn as the No. 1 seed, Nebraska at No. 3, and Texas Tech at No. 4, making it a highly competitive area.
