Miami making stops down south today

Miami safeties coach Ephraim Banda is checking in with some schools down south today after roaming West Palm Beach yesterday.

Banda stopped by South Dade High School earlier this morning. Miami currently has 2018 cornerback D.J. Ivey committed from there.

He is making a stop at Killian today as well -- three names to keep an eye on from there. 2018 interior lineman Delone Scaife (Miami commit), 2018 CB Traquan Butler, and 2019 WR Frank Ladson.

Miami will have three coaches at Southridge's game against Deerfield Beach on Friday as well.

Delone Scaif is going to be an elite recruit next cycle. Expecting a hard fought recruitment. Glad we're putting in work early.

Peter, Do you think we will go after the Gaddy brothers that decomitted from Tenn last night?

Agree but he really needs to start hitting the iron. Best bench is about 275. He has done well now of just natural strength and athleticism which he has .His short shuttle and vertical at very good for his age and size.

Nike Regional Combine...3-8/2016....6-3(ht)... 283(wt)... 5.26(40)... 4.83(SS)... 37.0(PB)... 28.3(vert)... 78.81(SPARQ)
Delone scaife, 51 - Delone Scaife Jr. highlights - Hudl

I have been high of Butler for over a year

(2018)....Taraquan Butler........ Killian........CB 5-9/175..official 200m--22.61 from 23.52 last year almost a full second...100m is 11.1. He will make national elite possible next year (22.00)...T. Bandy is an 11.24-100m. This kid runs well and can turn on a dime and is a physical tackler.

can tell the height growth he had since last year between the 2016 spring highlights this year and last year's sophomore highlights.

Serious question but does Rumph do anything? Seems like Banda is the one out there recruiting his *** off for DBs.

(2019)….WR…Killian….6-4/170..just tapping into his potential speed will really fall in the next couple of years and he can get up in the air to get the ball. Played some CB as a freshman already 6-4.

In his first in high school track season as a freshman posted a 23.26--200m which is very good for the age considering he is entering his speed growth phase Will in all likelihood make the 200m national elite standard of 22.00.

I'm a big fan of Butler. Doesn't have the name recognition of the other 2018 guys but has a lot of Bandy in him

A faster Bandy and that says something. In game films against Southridge he is running step for step with Pope and Wiggens and that says something.

****, sign that kid up. Always around the ball, blocking kicks and returning them as well.

He's going to blow up for sure.

he is the one that actually coaches them.
Not sure if you know this but Rumph played the game at its highest level and brings a level of knowledge and respect that Banda doesn't.

how bout Corn Elder, he was decent last yr. BUT This yr he played out of his GD mind.
Of course actual coaching doesn't matter to you, you would rather win the recruiting war

Its incredible that actually coaching and making players better doesn't matter to some

Kid looks like he will be something in the coming years. Speed and length. Will face some top DBs in that division he plays in.
