Miami has some momentum on the recruiting trail with four commitments joining the 2027 high school class. Now the program is a contender for 4 star Safety Zayden Gamble.

Ahead of his official visit trip to Miami, he was at the California vs Miami basketball game last Saturday. The four star safety Zayden Gamble released his top-ten schools today. Miami made the cut along with Georgia, Florida, Oregon, Ohio State, LSU, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, and Auburn. A decision hasn't been announced yet.

The Fort Lauderdale (FL.) St. Thomas Aquinas standout is the No. 216 overall player in the 2027 247Sports Composite Rankings. Zayden Gambles is the No. 23 overall player in Florida. The 5-foot-11 and 165-pound prospect also attended the 2025 Under Armour All-American Future 50 Showcase at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

The Hurricanes have some momentum on the trail. We will find out soon if that turns into a commit avalanche.
