2028 four-star EDGE Christopher Sanon recently made the trip to Miami Football Legends Camp, giving him an opportunity to work with the coaching staff and get a closer look at the program.
For Sanon, the biggest value from the camp wasn’t about earning attention, it was about continuing to develop his game.
“My biggest takeaway from today’s camp was really nothing. It was more about learning and getting better,” Sanon said.
The talented pass rusher spent time working directly with Miami’s coaches and came away impressed with the instruction he received throughout the day.
“It was really good working with the coaches at Miami,” Sanon said. “They taught me a lot of things that can help improve my technique and help me get better at EDGE.”
The visit also marked Sanon’s first time on Miami’s campus, something that stood out to him as he got a feel for the atmosphere surrounding the program.
“What stood out most about Miami was seeing all the different legends that were there today and getting to see the campus,” Sanon said. “It was my first time in Miami, so that was a great experience.”
Although Miami has not yet extended an offer, Sanon made it clear that he enjoyed his time around the program.
“I haven’t received an offer from Miami yet, but I definitely enjoyed the camp today,” he said.
As his recruitment continues to grow, Sanon is focused on strengthening relationships with coaches and learning more about the schools involved in his recruitment.
“The next step in my recruiting process is building more relationships, expanding my recruitment, and learning more about the coaches that have offered me,” Sanon said.
With plenty of time remaining in his recruiting journey, Sanon continues to focus on development while building connections with programs across the country. After his experience in Coral Gables, Miami is a school he’ll continue to keep an eye on moving forward.
