The Miami Hurricanes coaching staff are working really hard to land the nation's best player in the 2028 recruiting class.

On Tuesday afternoon, CanesInSight's @DMoney stated that the Hurricanes stand firmly in the lead for five-star wide receiver Brysen Wright.

"I really, really like where Miami sits in this one. I would say Miami is firmly in the lead for Bryson Wright, in my opinion, and based on what I'm hearing," DMoney stated.

Wright will be in attendance at Hard Rock Stadium this weekend when the Hurricanes take on the Florida State Seminoles. He has visited Coral Gables four times, most recently visiting this past summer.

"This weekend is enormous. He's going to be on campus. He's going to be at the game. He's going to see the full stadium. He's going to see how Miami uses his wide receivers. A huge opportunity to get Bryson Wright really going in the Miami direction, which I think he is already leaning."

The Florida Gators, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Texas Longhorns are also major contenders in his recruitment.

This season with the Mandarin Mustangs, he has posted 29 receptions for 652 yards while gaining 22.5 yards per catch and has also scored seven touchdowns.

The Hurricanes currently boast the No. 15 recruiting class for 2028. The team has only two commits so far: three-star quarterback Knox Annis -- who is Wright's quarterback at Mandarin -- and four-star offensive lineman Kweli Fielder.

The hunt for the nation's best player in the 2028 recruiting class is starting to heat up as the Hurricanes have gained momentum with him heading into the visit.

Can the Hurricanes pull this off? We shall see.
