This offseason, Miami has been making significant strides, particularly for the 2026 recruiting class. Recently, they secured the commitment of Jackson Cantwell, the top offensive tackle in the country. Yesterday, offensive lineman Rhys Woodrow, a three-star recruit, also committed to Miami. Now, Miami is among the top choices for a blue-chip defensive lineman.
Keshawn Stancil, a 6-foot-3, 270-pound defensive lineman, has decided to narrow his list of schools to just five. This list includes the Hurricanes, as well as Penn State, Georgia, NC State, and Clemson.
Stancil has scheduled an official visit to Miami on May 30th, followed by visits to Clemson on June 14th, Penn State on June 6th, and NC State on June 20th.
247Sports lists Stancil as a four-star prospect, ranked 152nd nationally, and the No. 20 defensive lineman in the class of 2026.
Miami offered Stancil on August 9 of last year. Stancil plays at Clayton High School in North Carolina, where he recorded 63 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 9 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles last season.
