'Miami is definitely a school I'm interested in.' 2028 three-star WR Jordyn Murray talks interest in Miami
Three-star 2028 wide receiver Jordyn Murray (Tampa, FL) is a rising junior in his class. According to On3, he ranks as the No. 625 overall player, No. 95 WR, and the No. 85 out of Florida.
CanesInSight caught up with the 6-foot-3, 180-pound wide receiver to talk about his interest in the Miami Hurricanes program. He expressed very high interest in the Hurricanes.
"Miami is definitely a school I'm interested in and continuing to learn more about throughout the process," he added. "My relationship with Coach Cristobal and the staff has been good. Haven’t really heard too much from them but I am looking forward to it."
Jordyn confirmed with CanesInSight that he is receiving interest from multiple schools. He currently has an additional 28 offers including, Miami, Syracuse, Minnesota, Temple, Arizona, Georgia Tech, Missouri, Kansas, Florida, Auburn, among others.
"Right now, I've been hearing a lot from several schools, and I feel fortunate to have a lot of great programs recruiting me," he added. "I'm staying focused on building relationships and learning more about each opportunity."
Murray checked out Miami's campus last summer; and now wants to get back down to Coral Gables for an official visit.
"I'm working on getting back down to Miami for a visit. Nothing is finalized yet, but I'm looking forward to being around the staff and seeing everything again," he added. "When I visit, I'll be looking closely at the overall culture, how I fit into the offense, player development, and the relationships within the program."
Miami has just as good a shot as anybody in his recruitment. Hopefully, Cristobal and the staff can reel him in and assemble the 2028 class.
