As someone who's followed recruiting from back when there were like 2 print magazines and no internet, y'all don't realize the absurd amount of talent Mario is stockpiling right now. It rivals and maybe surpasses what Bama and UGA did pre-NIL.
Different times as those two had unfair advantages but I think you are underestimating just how much talent those two especially Bama were hoarding during their runs.

Nah, I was aware. It made me ill. We're right up there now and I think we're gonna have a better hit ratio. A lot of those Bama guys flamed out. Didn't matter because of all the talent on the roster as a whole. We're **** close to being at that point.

Loved that he showed up in all U gear as to let any Bama and Auburn handlers know it aint happenin!

Hope so. Reminder though, we have had a ton to guys fizzle out as well. Whole gravel yard of them, it happens but our hit rate isn’t some next level ****. The portal has masked a bunch of it. Which is great cause while we can’t stack the same through HS recruiting like Bama did during their run, we can make immediate fixes to misses via the portal.

The stars shined at DB

Ai’King Hall looked exactly like Alabama’s top-ranked player.

The Miami cornerback commit carried himself like a future Power Four star while showing outstanding ball skills, length and confidence throughout the defensive back drills. He competed at a high level, worked with younger players and consistently made difficult plays look easy.

The defender out of Dothan (Ala.) has all the traits to become an impact player early in Coral Gables.

A lot of our “flameouts” will start at other schools. Jojo, Popo, Bruno, Chris Johnson, Horton (both), possibly the theee guys who went to Missouri (Simpson, Bobby Washington and Malik Bryant), heck even Big Baby may start at Texas.

Agree with @Trav that we’re hitting as well or better than Bama and UGA pre-NIL. Only 22 can start. Time will tell.

Bama had the #1 class for like 10 years. Don't think that will be matched even again. We are stacking talent, but not on Bama level when Saban was there
And no one will ever do that again, NIL changed all of that. Too many teams can pay for who they want now end of that story.

If your a Bama fan...all you can do is come to the realization that the dynasty is over..you had a helluva run..and running away HCs because the "Saban standard" isnt being met is just short sighted. You dont have the NIL money to stack talent like you use to and thats just the facts. And you dont have the NIL money to retain kids who dont want to sit the bench either. **** very few teams do. We are going to run into retention issues I think after this year. Especially in the WR room. Hope im wrong. Great problem to have though.
