Don't get this obsession with Pringle.
I mean he gave us a much needed bolt in the run game in crucial conference play games for a playoff spot. Averaged 6 yards a carry as a true freshman. Been reports about him breaking big runs and looking different than the other back some days in camp

Has to improve other areas but im surprised there’s been this much uncertainty with his role

Pringle didn’t play anymore in the playoffs because he was in for 3 plays against A&M and 3 not great things happened.

Plus, Fletcher was on such a roll the Marty got going.

I agree Pringle can be 1000 yard rusher here.
Pringle has to improve his blocking, that’s exactly why you didn’t see him in the playoffs. Now, I would imagine after another year in the program, he’s gonna block much better out there this season.

who is obsessed? If anything, the obsession I see comes from not being able to critique our sacred cow #4.

We already have ppl agreeing Pringle was faster and better and hitting the 2nd and 3rd level and that skill set is extremely useful in games in which our OL was creating gaping holes. That was the original point and many feelings were hurt over it.

Just goes to show you how deep the team is at RB. Truly wish we had the "thunder & lightening" combo with Pringle & Fletcher, but it apparently was never in the cards for last year's team.
