This would absolutely hurt us Goddamit

D$ did say he expected more attrition after Williams, and we’ve already seen Jenkins gone.
IF Glover FLIPS This is who i want even more than cypher.

Kentucky knocked their LB recruiting outta the park; they have Drew Williams who we were recruiting for a minute too. If we lose Glover and don’t flip Cypher, we’d be down bad. Doubt it resorts to that, tho. If it does, I’d resort to #spintheblockagaingang

Not sure why we stopped recruiting Keller, prob just ended up on the board lower than Cypher/Glover/Randle/Mayfield at the time. I know our coaches weren’t super fond of Kaden Henderson; considering they’re teammates, i wish i could be a fly on the wall to hear how they contrasted the two as prospects

They seem set on taking 4 LBs, including Randle as one of the 4 although they view him as more of an ATH. Kinda surprised Chandler hasn’t flipped to Tennessee as of yet. Not really sure who’d be up next if Cypher falls thru.

UGA also going after Drew Williams

The most obvious spot that Georgia likely still adds another body (or potentially bodies) is at linebacker. Georgia already only had two players committed at linebacker in the 2027 class before Temorris Campbell backed off his pledge earlier this month. With only Joakim Gouda on board, there is almost a certainty that Georgia brings in at least one more linebacker this cycle.

The most obvious on the wish list is Kentucky commit Drew Williams. The Sequoyah (Ga.) linebacker commit hasn't taken a visit to Georgia this fall, and hasn't been — to our knowledge — since June. But Georgia has been keeping tables on Williams, and he's definitely a high priority among linebacker wants for the class. The big challenged? Kentucky is proving to be the program he wanted to commit to in Year 1 under Will Stein.

What we're watching: Does he make a visit? Specifically an official visit? If so, that will be telling. But even if not, can Georgia still make Williams feel like the can't miss at linebacker that he's turning into?

Beyond Williams, the board is less certain, but with the desire to add perhaps more than one more linebacker in the class, you know the options are longer than we realized right now.

Oregon commit Brayton Feister has told Dawgs247 he still hears from Georgia from time-to-time, and expects that to heat up a little bit more in coming weeks. Georgia has brought some un-offered, down-the-line types like Army commit Synir Fields, too. It's too early to say what direction Georgia would go with a third linebacker if it were lucky enough to land Williams.

Would love to keep him, but this wouldn't be a surprise based on D$'s tea leaves about him maybe having to switch positions if he ends up here

EDIT: @Jaxcane4 clarified below I was mixing up with Randle, disregard.
This kids gonna be good. Randle can kick rocks if we got better prospects. If I had to guess they'll both be here unless nil games are going on which a lot of recruits try and at that Dennis does Dennis things and all bets are off...

This is interesting framing because i thought UGA pushed Campbell out after he got in a fight with Grayson. Still possible, just not the reflected in that language.

Good to see them attached to so many other names; makes me much less worried about Glover. I know Glover and UF commit Ja’Bios Smith were their top two LB(s) targets after Gouda who was 1A. They did get an OV from Feister, but not Williams. UK commits will be **** near impossible to flip now that this proof of concept has exceeded their expectations. Same with UCLA commits.

Maybe this is the reason we are sniffing around Cypher.

Question..Has Glover been back down for a home game since he committed? If not, that would be a bad sign.

Believe he’s been down for a game.

Maybe this is the 4 star deccomit coming but it seems when this happens we pivot. Sucks if we lose this one and Williams. It happens but I’m curious where we pivot. The AM flip could have been a sign with this. But whatever the source mentioned earlier this week said we would lose a 4 star but huge flips are coming so who knows. I was wondering if it was King the corner and that’s why we are after the Oregon kid. Guess we will see

Georgia has been kicking *** with the linebacker position.

I had occasion to watch Chandler when Halls played Gibbs and was underwhelmed.

Again, none of that means ****. Just like the likes of Jacob’s and Cypher are open to the idea of flipping to us, this kid is clearly open to flipping to them.
Eh, it definitely does mean something. And Glover hasn’t visited UGA (that we know of) compared to Cypher and Jacobs who have visited Miami; and with Jacobs, who has visited multiple non-OSU schools & continues to do so

Our Our Our... the guys they recruit are talented enough to play???
If your rationale is we haven't recruited talented LBs in 5 years I have no counter. I would strongly disagree with that logic.
