The second domino for Miami Hurricanes mens basketball has fallen.
Miami men’s basketball junior international guard Noam Dovrat has entered his name into the transfer portal as of Tuesday afternoon, sources confirmed to CanesInSight.
Dorvat was coming off the bench for the Hurricanes, as he hit a groove down the stretch for the Hurricanes, where he was the Canes go-to three point scorer.
The 6-foot-5 point guard averaged 3.8 points and 1.0 assists in 9.4 minutes per game. He shot 45.2 percent from the field and 46.6 percent from three-point range.
There is no doubt in my mind that Dorvat was the Hurricanes' best three point scorer. Noam had a very quick release, where he could get his shot off very quick over defenders.
Head coach Jai Lucas will now need to fill the role of a straight-up three point scorer, especially coming off the bench.
