Johnson announced Tuesday morning via On3 that he will be taking official visits to Miami, Auburn, and Tennessee, despite being committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Johnson has been pledged to Alabama since October 4th, but that hasn’t slowed interest from several programs around the country. Since committing, the lone official visit he has taken was to Auburn, which hosted him a couple of weeks ago. Now, Miami and Tennessee will get their shot to make a push.

While Alabama remains firmly in the picture, Johnson says the schools he has been hearing from the most include Miami, Auburn, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, LSU, Nebraska, North Carolina, and LSU.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Johnson is ranked as the No. 540 overall prospect in the nation and the No. 54 cornerback in the 2027 class. He also checks in as the No. 62 player in the state of Georgia. Johnson measures in at 6-foot, 170 pounds.

On the field, Johnson has been productive for McEachern High School. During his junior season, MaxPreps lists Johnson with 19 total tackles, multiple pass breakups, and an interception.

Johnson remains committed to Alabama for now, but with multiple official visits lined up, his recruitment is one to keep a close eye on as the process moves forward.

Hopefully he’s not concerned about his legacy at Bama
