Miami Encourages Fans to Wear White for College Football Playoff Semifinal

Miami is wanting to keep it simple for the Hurricanes fans for the College Football Playoff semifinal: wear white.

The Canes put the word out on social media, asking fans to just wear white and turn the CFP semifinal into a full-on White Out. Whether you’re making the trip or watching from home, the idea is the same show up united and loud, just as Miami fans did in Arlington.

It’s the biggest game of the season with a national title shot on the line. Guessing Miami will be in white, the fans are asked to do the same, and the hope is to bring that Asylum energy to the biggest stage possible.

Not that it matter, but I don’t like this move, personally.

Love having the guys in the stormtrooper unis on the field, but the distinct orange and green in the stands pops and reminds you you’re playing “Miami.”

Miami fans should always be asked to wear Orange. It’s our primary color AND pops the most on TV or in person.

Green gets lost in big crowds and white is too mutual.

It’s the biggest game of the last 23 yrs just like the first 2 playoff games were and when we win this one the NCG will be the biggest in the last 23 years.

Ill be wearing orange as i have all season. A white out for a team whose primary colors are orange and green is stupid regardless of what the team is wearing.

I’ve worn the same orange Miami t-shirt without washing it, since the A&M game.

I don’t think we should change anything. Orange against baby crying blue with stormtroopers on the field.

Haven't washed my jersey since the Pitt game. Nasty but it has worked so far. You better hope you don't sit next to me in the natty lmao
