Mario going be asking Miami President for a special waver to get him enrolled after the 2nd lol
F it, maybe we can get him an extra year of eligibility while we're at it.

This is all very ***...

Can’t believe Demond went back after all that with Washington…having my coach’s wife talk **** on IG about me would’ve sealed it for me idk lol
If I was him I'd tell the Coach's wife to suck my ****, or try to shag his daughter.

What are they going to do, revoke my scholarship?

Well this isn't ideal

Good writeup by ESPN. So the suit from Duke's perspective is really about preserving the status quo prior to arbitration? Could this still be resolved quickly by paying Duke 100% (or more) of the money left on Mensah's RevShare contract?

Duke isn’t winning this it’s just kicking the can down the road.

Hopefully they get this settled before the February date or that gets moved up. Just a pain in the ***.

Y’all help me understand this, because I honestly don’t get it.

What does a school actually gain by blocking a player from transferring? Once you block him and it turns into lawyers and lawsuits, that relationship is done. Why would a kid want to play for you after that?

Maybe I’m just old school, but if a player doesn’t want to be there anymore, I’m letting him go. Yeah, it sucks, especially if he’s a good one, but I’m not trying to force someone to stay.

Like with Malachi, sure, I’m making my pitch to keep them. I’m doing everything I can to sell them on staying. But if they truly want out, I’m not blocking them just to block them. That does nothing for anyone.

Honestly, let’s say for argument sake that Malachi wanted to transfer, but UM blocked him. I would respect the players on the team to walk out and not suit up until he is released.

I think these kids should start doing that to prevent this from ever being an issue
