Miami Emerges As Favorite For Duke Transfer QB Darian Mensah

Word around college football today is Miami is now the team to beat for former Duke QB Darian Mensah, who recently entered the transfer portal on the last day. This isn’t some long shot, the Hurricanes are getting serious looks and buzz as the favorite to land him according to 247Sports.

He broke out at Tulane in 2024, starting all 13 games and throwing 2,723 yards with 22 touchdowns and only 6 interceptions while completing 65.9% of his throws. He also ran for 132 yards and a score.

He then transferred to Manny Diaz’s Duke squad for the 2025 season, and he took off even more piling up nearly 4,000 yards passing with 34 touchdowns and 6 picks and a completion rate around 67%.

Mensah is back in the portal, and Miami fans are hyped about the possibility of adding a proven Power-5 QB.

John Cena lives over here in Tampa and has two small warehouses across from my Publix in Land O Lakes, where he stores his extra cars and has a wrestling ring in one.
I see him every once in a while unloading a Ferrari or whatever on US-41 at the entrance.
I’ve also seen him at Publix with his chick a few times. One time he parked his Bentley in front of me just as I had parked and I took a picture for my daughter. Gave me a dirty look.

For Wrestlemania to ever work Hogan needed proper a heel to sell the show.... Vince knew it and Roddy got the call... His Promo ability as a heel was perfect for building Hogan as the savior.... Let's also keep in mind all his work in Mid-Atlantic with Steamboat and Flair as well as his stuff in Georgia Championship Wrestling - Most notably the Buzz Sawyer feud..... Roddy freaking hung himself for a promo shoot.....
Not knocking you... always appreciate a good wrestling fan but Roddy was by far one of the best heels/ performers ever.....
