For argument’s sake, let’s say he’s forced to show up for spring practice. Man, I’d be out there dropping back and throwing the ball at dudes’ ankles, shins, straight into the dirt. Showing up late to meetings, barely engaged. And I’m not saying that’s right, but let’s be real, he’s not playing.

So what’s the point? That’s what I don’t get. If he’s never gonna suit up for you again, why are you burning money in court over a player who will never take another snap for your program? That makes zero sense to me.
That would look bad from a professionalism stand point it’s better to just sit and not play at all
And since nil isn’t pay for play he would still cash in his nil checks
And he transfers out the next year

this dude obviously has his spot if he wants it but wonder who portals out due to his arrival
Well 3 portaled out and 3 graduated so with 3 freshman coming in it doesn't necessarily change the calculus, as he'd be our 3rd portal add at WR.

great point ... cig is a better coach, but used the same formula in terms of portal usage
I was one of those guys who thought overwhelming talent was required to win championships at the college level regardless of coaching but Cignetti single-handedly proved that theory wrong..he was the better coach by a mile on every game day for them n they never lost. Kudos to him, legendary accomplishment (Unless it comes out they were indeed cheating somehow)

in reference to this......

Curt Cignetti was seen as building the team the right away and Deion Sanders was lambasted. lol
Similar to Miami n the portal at times to.
Its just funny how narratives can be pushed.
you either die a hero or live long enough to become a villian. cute seasons by Indy. Keep winning and the tide will turn. it always does.

Is it they don’t rotate or never had the depth to rotate guys? In this offense blocking is a a must and alot of guys aren’t willing. All the guys that were depth are gone because they wasn’t good enough. 10, 3 and 15 prove they’ll play you if they trust you , no matter your age.
josh moore might have been out the gate if he got negative on that screen pass

This is a strange take, I am a UM alumn. Class of 2010 though so you can imagine the UM teams I had to sit through as a student which explains my cynicism and low expectations.
Perhaps, and I’d like to believe you, as many of us have been through the desert, but a lot of your posts sound more trollish, than cynical.

If we have the money, why would we want to settle on a 9 game win season and take Raiola.

Canes play to win championships. Anything less may be an improvement, but we don’t settle for stepping back.
