After the Hurricanes 78-73 win over the Louisville Cardinals on Thursday afternoon, Jai Lucas's squad is back up to a No. 7 seed in today's bracketolodgy.

ESPN's Joe Lundari bumped the Hurricanes back up to the No. 7 seed, as yesterday the Hurricanes were seen as a No. 8 seed. However, after the big win over the Cardinals, the Hurricanes are now in the seven seed range, right where the Hurricanes want to be at.

Lunardi has the Hurricanes playing in the Midwest Region of the bracket, playing against a Florida foe, that will turn heads if the two gets each other in the first round, in No. 10 seed UCF Knights. Miami is not so far off from being a No. 6 seed in the bracketology. Other big time media outlets have the Hurricanes listed as a No. 8 seed in the field.

If the Hurricanes can win tonight versus the Virginia Cavailers, then Sunday, Miami could be looming for a potential 6th seed in the official bracket.
