Miami Baseball Moves Up To No. 17 In D1Basbeall Rankings

The Miami Hurricanes are now sitting at No. 17 in the latest D1 Baseball Rankings.

Miami moved up from last weekend ranking at No. 23 to the No. 17 spot on Monday, pushing the Hurricanes closer to the top-15 of the rankings.

Miami is the now the sixth team from the conference to make the top-25. Ahead of them are Georgia Tech (5), North Carolina (8), NC State (14), Clemson (15), Wake Forest (16), Miami (17). The Florida State Seminoles rounds out the group at No. 21.

In the weekend matchup versus Lafayette, the Hurricanes swept them to a series of 3-0. Miami baseball team delivered one of the most explosive offensive performances in program history Sunday afternoon, defeating Lafayette 30-5 at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field.
