In that case, I’ll take a football scholarship too, cuz what does it matter?

Who says he has a scholarship? Why are you guys making baseless assumptions? There was no bat signal. Every scholly kid gets a bat signal. Every walk-on doesn't.

Hmmmmm.... a clue!

And do you get upset when the staff gives a hard-working PWO who will never play a one year scholarship in the summer when we realize we have the room? Then you must get upset with nearly every CFB program almost every year. If that IS what's happening (and again, the evidence says it isn't) then its the same thing except we are actually using it on a kid who had a free ride with CFB experience. Problem?

So are you an NCAA scholarship athlete willing to come here as a PWO? No? Then buy a ticket please!

Jimmy Murphy was a make a wish kid and everybody loved him.

Miami has a lot of problems to solve. Literally not a single one is made worse by taking one singular kid, whether they give him a scholly or not. Alabama has a LOT of kids on scholarship who never play. Somehow they manage.

Nepotism never looks good but at least bring in someone capable of performing like the coaches kids at Clemson.

This guy won't be able to even get in the way of defensive linemen. Even if he's not expected to play, there's more competitive options. There HAS to be.

This isn't a good look.

There's plenty of things to ***** about, but the head coach doing his family member a solid won't be what elevates this program or brings it down. He's setting him up with a better degree and that's okay for family in my book.

Jon Richt agrees wholeheartedly….

Based off of reading this board, it seems like they need to bring him in so Daylan Russell will have someone to compete with in one-on-one drills.
well they are about the same size.

But foreal doesnt bother me....maybe he can push 1 of the back ups at center...and that is good enough with 2 yr elgibility he allows tripp to redshirt and be our center in waiting.

The real issue im confused about is how Georgia State didnt threaten us with tampering like Tulane did when we tried to land Guidry's ace
