Live Updates Thread: The Opening Finals - Tuesday

The last day of the Opening will feature the 7-on-7 championships, as well as another round of OL/DL drills with a Final Five to cap it off.

Pretty cool event, with the highlights being the overwhelming amount of star power all in one place, and the downside being how restrictive they were on media. I can’t complain though, still got plenty of content.

After Overdrive won the title and the awards ceremony, a lot of kids had already left and many others were trying to catch flights, so I grabbed Kenny McIntosh quick and called it a day. Kenny was excited to talk Canes and threw up the U. Miami is still in a very good spot with him. Notre Dame is out. Oklahoma the main competition right now, he’s deciding whether to go to Paradise or an OU event the same weekend.

Stefan overall how do you feel about the canes targets and commits and how they performed? Can we see some bumps?

He wants to check out OU before making a decision but he’s not sure if we will. He’s getting close to making a decision. Ivins says that OU seemed like the biggest threat but thatthey aren’t too far behind Georgia and Auburn. It looks like we r in a good spot.

If he chooses OU over paradise he’s still gonna pick us. Might even pick us a day later. The faster he gets that OU visit out of the way the faster he becomes ours.
