I do. It's not that illuminating. A lot of boilerplate. No big news. Here is what Devon Jackson is saying:
"It was cool," Jackson said afterward. "One thing that really stood out was the alumni football players came back to talk and I really took what they said to heart. They said the reason why people don’t come to Miami is that they are scared of competition. And I sat back and looked around and I was like dang there is a lot of competition out here but that’s what the greats live for and so I loved it. But overall all it was a cool camp."

So where does UM fit in now?

"They are in my top 2," Jackson said.

He says the other school in his picture is Arizona State.

But Jackson may wait a bit to announce.

"Originally I was (announcing soon) but I think I'm going to need some time to think this through," he said.

I honestly think the visit and Likens potentially talking has him thinking because I really think that staff is dirtier then people even here think

Maybe he ate at the now closed Eye restaurant back in the day and disliked the very dry (although in my opinion still tasty) burgers. Or even worse, found a hair in their salad as my then girlfriend / now wife did.

I suppose those experiences could make SabanLand more appealing.

The guy is the head coach at Edison. If you're planning to recruit the school at any point banning the head coach from your biggest camp is a bad way to start.

Tbh I didn't care when we hired him because I know Miami and I know manny. I could see through it the minute they announced it.

His home is in Georgia where his kid is. This is a part time gig that pays him for being Ed Reed. His cameos on the sidelines for night games is his job.

I recently re-watched his intro press conference. I'm only saying what I remember he said, but it was effectively "I have a lot going on, I have a kid in Georgia and he's my priority. But as long as my other priorities are attended to, I'll be at Miami."

Any notion to me that a random *** fan is going to judge ED ****!NG REED for how much effort he is putting into the program???

This fanbase needs a serious reality check.

Ed Reed is arguably our greatest player. Personally and objectively, I'd call him #1. He also LOVES The U. For anyone, let alone someone who is not an employee, trustee or alum, but just claims to be a booster to put Ed Reed's name into their soft, needy, doubtful breath?

We like to say "The U is family." Most of the fanbase has literally zero idea what that means. If you haven't lived on campus or tailgated at games for a very long time...? You're probably not family.

But when you try to bash on people, who have given way, way more to The U than you could ever even conceive?

The University of Miami owes very few people anything. The people who played football at/for The University of Miami owe basically nothing to no one. This obsession with alums who try to benefit The U after being players needs to stop.

Reed shows up for us. End of story.

You’re not a part of it by tailgating or living on campus either. That’s pretty much about the football alumni specifically.

Right, but I think what guys are saying is they’d rather buy the shirt in a way that financially supports ABJ via the new rule July 1 than say ****s sporting goods, canes wear, etc.
