Dee, Is the choice to bail on the db, coach, or a combination of both + the playcall? It seemed like more often than not, field side would usually be 8-10 off the ball and boundary would press bail. Unless it was some kind of cover 2 or cover 3 cloud when the cb knew they had the flat.

It's a coach that decides that. HOWEVER he decided that 9 out 10 because of his confidence in the player and a small extent who he's covering. If you noticed with him, he bailed all year. What's on him is sticking to his technique and when he breaks. That was the biggest issue. To me I simply wouldn't have had him on the field in those situations. What slime had shown us in the previous two weeks I trusted for those MOMENTS more than O'Connor. It's not just me by the way Incase anyone thinks I'm just choosing to be critical of him cause he's light skinned or something. If y'all noticed whenever Indiana needed a play, the receiver wasn't who they were going to, they were simply going at O'Connor MEAN. I gotta move on from this though. Let's get ready for this season and hope linebackers and oline rooms come together quickly. Or at least by Notre lame and more importantly in time for the playoffs
