After the were playing pretty well before the first media timeout, the Hurricanes came out the timeout cold. The Boilermakers are now on a 7-0 run.

Reneau cant trap like that and then just stand there and wait for him to pass out of it. you either have to get back to your guy or be way more aggressive

 

Man. Too many 3s for them at the at the end. 1 was all luck

When you let a shooter get in rhythm with wide open looks, taking the other shots becomes easy..

 

cant leave that kid after hes hit two straight. Lucas was not happy about that

We’ve gotten away with leaving the corner a LOT this year. Won’t get away with it against this team.

 

All in all, half went pretty good.

If refs even out the calls a little, and they dont shoot 56% from 3 again, I like where we are at.

I confronted some, asked why, response was because Purdue is better…then another said because we’re Catholics and yall are convicts

 

Donaldson not getting an and 1 there is just to insane.

This is like UL game where we hope guys that are wide open miss threes.. The percentages are high because they are wiiide open, lol.. Have to play defense and not hope

Not luck, except for the long 3 that dude hit at to beat the shot clock. The other two 3’s they hit at the end of the half were wide open shot caused by bad defense. Teams have killed our Canes all season long from the 3-point line. Gotta do a much better job playing defense on the perimeter.

 

Officiating was obviously tilted but tbh I’m just glad we got through the half with Udeh only having 1. Easily could have had another on one of the TKR iso’s, and we need him to play big minutes.

Yep. Difference is Mizzou is not a good shooting team and this Purdue team will absolutely light you up from out there.

Yep. We all just get frustrated because it is - missing bunnies, wide open 3s for them -- or we are up by 15... up at half, upset in our grasp.
