Perhaps its my orange and green shades, but I see Miami and Georgia as two programs headed in complete opposite directions.

Our defense got exponentially better this year in every possible statistic - while also starting three freshmen LB's. And minus that horrid 4 game stretch, our offense also seemed much improved even with awful OL play and injuries.

Georgia on the other hand, appears to have regressed on both sides of the ball under Smart. I know he is just a freshman playing the most difficult position on the field, but Eason did not impress me. And for such a defensive mastermind, Georgia sure seemed to struggle with stopping opposing offenses.

For lack of a better term, we appear to be team that is "Trending Up." While Georgia appears to be in a complete rebuild. If Holloman can't see that and wants to put his career in the hands of James Coley, thats on him.

Kirby and that staff he put together can't coach crap. The best two coaches on staff are Rocker and Scherrer left overs from Richt staff. Kirbys only hope is recruiting and he currently has and will end up 2nd or 3rd in nation this year. If he can out athelete every team he at win a few.

If you paid attention to the Canes prior to Richt - Golden out recruited everyone in our conference sans Clemson and FSU. Talent without coaching and development is a guaranteed recipe for disaster.

I keep hearing that his brother has an offer to UGA. Are you guys certain of that, or is just internet scuttlebutt that's become internet fact?

As a walk on.

Oregon offered full ride.

Did that info come from his mouth or the UGA coaches directly? And who gives a fck about an offer as a walk-on? Anyone can walk on anywhere?

But the state of Georgia basically has a law that would allow him to go to UGA for free. It's like the dream scholarship or something of that nature.

The brother has been offered as a preferred walkon which carries some benefits over just a kid off the street. He can also qualify Hope scholarship paid for from lottery, but has to maintain a B average after one year or lose it. That might be as long as Kirby would want him.

He's not going to get the HOPE.

But they've already found the funds for him. At UGA and a few out of state options.

LOL

Georgia: 30.4 pass attempts for 195.9 yards a game; 40.8 rush attempts for 186.5 yards a game
Miami: 32.7 pass attempts for 273.5 yards a game; 33.4 rush attempts for 157.7 yards a game

It's obvious what the situation is at this point. No need to spread more BS Hollomom.

Like I say every **** year its almost never as simple as the coach didn't get a kid there are always other factors especially something like this where she isn't even trying to hide her disrespect towards UM

Should have baked him a cake....yuge mistake, smh.

LOL

Lol I promised myself I wasn't going to disrespect a kids mom

Dude it's hard for me as well. Especially after reading this ish:

“UGA came out throwing the ball, I understood from a football perspective that they had to run the ball as much as they wanted to throw the ball,” she said.”They had some drops, the quarterback was not getting protected, so he was going to get hurt, so they had no choice but to run it from what I saw,” she said. “Now they also threw the ball a lot later on with a freshman QB. Other places that were recruiting us had senior quarterbacks and they were running it a lot. I kept asking why were they not throwing the ball with an experienced kid? So yea if you were going to recruit my son I was watching those things.”

I'm going to leave that alone.
