Love Dublin & Pleasanton man. Looking for a new house in the Concord/Walnut Creek border as we speak. Can’t do SF; that mug makes my hood side come out every time I drive out there! Lol.
Ran around with a girl from the East Bay but she thought I was a Martian with my East coast accent. I was in my late twenties coming from a Manhattan when I was in SF. No burbs, was running and gunning. Now, Beantown Burbs. Good luck finding a pad and the earth not moving too much. Used to go to LA once every few months, oh boy. I was morally bankrupt when I went back to SF.

The defensive line class in South Florida for 2021 is loaded and one of the top guys in that group is UF commit Tyreak Sapp from St. Thomas Aquinas. Sapp may be committed to the Gators, but that did not stop him from visiting Miami last month and competing at Paradise Camp.

“I did well. The coaches out here were great. I thought the competition was very good.”

Of all the players Sapp went up against at the camp, there was one who stuck out and also so happened to be a Miami commit.

“Even though we only went twice, (Laurence) Seymore. We went 1 for 1. Other than that, I didn’t lose any reps.”

This was the first time that Sapp made the trip down to Coral Gables since new head coach Manny Diaz took over and he came away impressed.

“Great environment, family environment. Everything is together. All of the coaches, they keep everything together. It’s a family program.” Sapp continued, “With coach Diaz in charge, the camp is running a lot slower, but smoother. Even though it’s not at the fastest pace, it’s smooth, and it’s going great.”

Despite Sapp committing to a rival school and Miami going through a coaching change all within the same week, the Hurricanes never stopped recruiting Sapp. That did not go unnoticed.

“Ever since 8th grade they’ve been after me. That’s what I love about them. They don’t negative recruit or anything. They just say they can bring out all of my full potential.”

While at the camp, Sapp had the opportunity to be coached up by the new defensive line coach, Todd Stroud.

“I like the new D-line coach. He’s smooth - he articulates things, he makes sure you know everything. He gets you all the information you need, and then he is going to teach you and tell you what you need to do on the field.”

As for the high school season, Sapp and his STA teammates open the year in California as they take on De La Salle.

“It’s going to be a high energy game. High expectations from both teams. We just have to go into that game with an attacking attitude. I know that team runs the ball a lot. We are still studying that offense, still watching film.”

Aquinas also has a big-time in-state game as they take on Carol City in late September.

“That’s a big game. It’s kind of a rivalry game. Both teams have guys from Broward and Dade. That’s just a Florida rivalry.”

While Sapp says that he is still committed to Florida, he also said that he would like to visit Alabama, Clemson, and possibly Auburn in the future.
Continue to recruit him, but he really doesn’t seem interested.

Florida kids generally dont head to Texas.

Youc an have deep pockets all you want but being placed at the 3rd or 4th spot in your division aint gonna get you know where.

uga is the new pretty bag school for s.fla elites

I get what you are saying, but since when did Florida kids go to Oregon? TAMU has a lot to o$$er and a coach that knows Florida.
