My biggest concern is WR. We don't have the go to guy. Cooley and Richards are playmakers but they don't seem to be high reception guys. Last few years we had guys like Burns and Scott. Those are the guys you know will catch the ball on third down when you need a play.

Agreed. Thought it could be Njoku (even though he's a TE)...dropped an easy pass on 3rd and 10 that could have gone for 15+ which killed us

Or Berrios but he didnt have a single catch. Was he even out there at WR?

Kaaya has missed Coley a lot already this season - it's on Kaaya. Coley is open.

People won't admit it, but Kaaya has regressed. I don't want to hear that we are purposely running a vanilla offense. He couldn't throw to save his life. He needs to step up big time

I think "slippage" is a better word for Kaaya than "regression"

A lot of teams struggled today against lesser opponents its part of the game

Kaaya is an OK QB, but he's yet to show elite status. He has yet to put the team on his back, and eke out a win. Thank God that we have RBs that can do that, and a decent D.

Diaz needs to blitz even more, especially when FAU started at their own 1. We needlessly played soft there.

Not impressed with Richt's play calling. Why are so many giving him a pass? He's a veteran coach and should know what he's doing. If you tell me he's good, then that tells me that Kaaya isn't trusted by Richt. That crap was plain vanilla.

You know that we gave Clueless 5 f'ing years to "get it"?

By the way, App State ain't no cupcake.

CMR realized Kaaya wasn't going to help tonight and adjusted. Short quick passes and heavy runs. This was fully on Kaaya and partially the OL. High level.recruits like kc, darling, and St. Louis need to start pulling there weight. So far those guys are compete busts. We need to go out of state for OL.

Have not seen Berrios do anything at WR yet. After his spring game and scrimmage stats I was expecting a big year. Maybe he's our secret weapon moving forward? He seems like exactly what Brad needs out if a WR right now.

Same goes for Mayes on defense. Hardly even noticed Colbert's absence but Mayes was someone I was excited about coming out of camp but hasn't even seen 20 snaps on D (could be less than 10?)

Canes aren't no cupcake either

If kaaya is gonna have his worst game as a cane let's be **** glad it's against fau.. He'll brush it off

real talk. Brad and the entire offense were low energy tonight. They've played much better under Coley in the past. I think there's a certain lack of comfort with executing and trusting the reads; that's what i'm seeing. Brad normally knows where the ball is supposed to go before the snap but he seemed confused at times and out of rhythm. Richt didn't call a great game in my estimation either. He should ride Herndon early. Establish him and make the defense adjust to him when you see the passing game isn't clicking. He got there but a little late for my liking. A win is a win and i'm glad they **** themselves a little tonight against FAU as opposed to anyone on the remainder of the schedule. Hopefully they focus a little better next week.

Kaaya struggled today obviously. Held on to the ball too long and was inaccurate. When the play calling went to quicker simpler routes he improved his accuracy. Receivers are not getting much separation. That is one reason to hold the ball too long.

Definitely true so far. Coley is creating a lot of separation, it's on Kaaya to hit him.

Low blows after only 2 JV games?

Same thing for your boy Kaaya: 3rd overall pick (Kaaya the Messiah) turning into coming back for next year (Kaaya the Pariah)

Season hasn't started yet. Give it some time.

But regressed from what? He's only regressed from the reports we hear about him from our media. When he missed open receivers, made bad reads, etc., the last two years we blamed everyone but him.

Walton was a god**** machine yesterday. Hats off to him.

berrios has not been thrown to much, probably because we are holding back on our offense. same thing goes for going to coley and others.

richt's play calling has been nothing spectacular, again because we are holding back our offense

richt made a major adjustment when he realized kaaya was off, havent seen that in years.

the defensive of line is a monster, so are the linebackers.

the OL remains a major concern, and that is one reason kaaya was off. the second pick was on the OL
