Today alone about 10 hours spanning multiple games over 3 years. Wanted great wins and poor losses to create a construct.

another hour or two reading philosophies, quarterback drills and watching videos on enos individually yesterday.

About 5 hours breaking down bama games and jarren at various times throughout the season

There will be tendencies that emerge for sure. But after time spent so far it is nowhere near the tendencies of richt.

This is first glance of course and doesn't make me the SME of all things enos but it gives me a good impression what to expect.

As far as Perry? I think of anyyone on the roster who will struggle with this playbook it's him. Mirrored routes were ran for a reason.
Great breakdown man

Awesome work by both of you guys that is very much appreciated. Really excited to read that his reputation as an offensive mind/teacher is backed up by close analysis of play design/calling and QB technique. During your research did either of you develop any theories as to why his statistical results haven't been more consistently elite? He's obviously been in a bunch of difference circumstances, but given how bright he appears to be I'm surprised he didn't light it up at CMU.

one thing roman hinted at that i would love to see is opponent specific game planning. there was never any sense that richt had identified weaknesses and was going to attack them, or had drawn up plays for an opponent's specific tendencies. if enos can do that and then get our athletes to execute i think we can have a pretty nice offense next year.

Great Write up,
The Fact that Enos brought in a Offensive Line Coach hes close to and has NFL Experience has me excited about getting protection and creating confusion when going up tempo. Just like Manny Diaz got his guys to run his scheme. Dan got the guys that know what Dan's About and that should pay dividends. Hopefully our players embrace the system in time for the opener.
Hopefully they embrace the system in time for the opener? There's a new sheriff in town so they had better get to embracing like yesterday because the alternative is sitting on the bench. It feels great to finally have an Alpha running this show.

UF defense is going into this game nearly blindfolded which makes me feel good lol What to expect week 1 from him is anyone's guess. Do we see more of Bamas offense last year vs Arkansas 2015 offense.

Great job!! Thank you. I've already watched the LSU game and Bama game from 2015. Very impressive offense!!

WOW ,I've been around this game most of my life and to see post like this from CIS management is a shear HONOR to see how much I really DON'T know and how this game has evolved and how complicated it is to decipher and the effort it takes.

Outstanding work here so concise SMH in WOW.

Sounds like a great hire to me with initial perceptions. At the very least much better than what we have seen the last few years. Time will tell how good a hire it is. At least this coming season I will not close my eyes when our offense comes on the field.

Here's a question.

Did Richt's offense do anything right? As in any concepts, plays, designs that you liked and would still be beneficial to have in our new playbook? I can only think of one, which was his brief "Berrios in motion, fake the jet sweep and run off tackle" we used against VT and ND in 2017.

Sorry I'm not an X's and O's guy so forgive my rather weak grasp of the play language.

My man. Absolutely true. I learned from an x/o guy to not really read any other work till your own piece is done as to avoid influence.

Funny though because I finally read word for word what you wrote instead of the quick cliffs and 100% seeing this offense very similar.

When you put the run game in the negative side I was like my initial reaction of all we did was switch from zone to power became verified.

Iron sharpens iron. You lock up your side of the field. I lock up mine. But we got the whole thing under wraps. 👊

I’m not detailed like you guys but the quality of your work and the effort you put into it is self evodent. You should conduct classes on film study and game prep for players seeking the go above and beyond— for money of course. Thanks to both of you.

So, after 10+ hours of research how would you rate this hire?

Did you come away feeling confident?

Very in some areas. A little concerned in others. (Tempo/ run game) this is just a scratch off the service introduction. We will continue to dive in more over the next coming weeks.

After reading this I also had the thought that Perry gaining a full grasp of his offense could be a real problem. We are either going to need to get Hurts, or develop Williams, because I'm not sure NP has enough between the ears to understand all of this.

Really great work. A couple of players at Tx Tech said that Leach never handed out an offensive playbook . . . just greased it. The key to learning it was repeating the play in practice over and over and over. Leach also said that the team that plays the fastest is the team that wins the game and the team that plays the fastest is the team that wants to. Adding a dimension of tempo to Eno's book would fit Manny's scheme very well.
