Miami hosted four-star safety/ATH Tyriq Green over the weekend and appears to have made a big impression on the Buford, Ga. prospect. Here's what he had to say to @DMoney following his visit:

Overall Takeaways from the weekend:

“I’ve enjoyed myself down here. I like being closer to the coaches and like the other commits, other recruits, being closer to them too.”

“I’m really like one of the guys that they want, and then just like building that relationship, like keep being closer with the coaches, and like just seeing where I can fit in for this defense.”

“I feel way better. They actually raised the standard soI feel good about them. They’re definitely a school that I can see myself at.”

On where he’s at in his recruiting timeline:

“Probably after all my OV’s, sit down, see all the inside stuff, like the roster, stuff like that. Just where I can see myself.

“Miami really set the bar high this weekend so they’re up there.”

On how the staff wants to use him:

“All around. Like learn a strong safety first, be able to go to free safety, move down to nickel, and stuff like that. And then just like being a return guy, punt/kick return.”

“I like to move around and be versatile and be able to do a lot of things to help the team out.”

On how the staff separates themselves from other schools:

“They’re just like cool dudes, right? You can talk about, like, a lot of stuff with them. I got a good relationship with them.”

“We talk a lot, so they've been making a good effort. Like I talk to Coach Cristobal He text me a lot, like we got like a little family group chat.”
