Fall Practice Early Portion Summary - 9/11

Stefan Adams
**DE Demetrius Jackson (knee), who sat out last week, was back practicing in full with the two's today.

**WR Ahmmon Richards (knee) continued to sit out, and was off to the side working on the bike. Joining him was OT George Brown, who is working his way back from MCL surgery last month.

**Despite some calling for O-Line changes, the first team line remained the same.

**A notable depth chart change: RB Lorenzo Lingard was taking reps with the third team in drills today after his big game against Savannah State, up from fifth string the past few weeks.

Never thought I'd be on pins and needles waiting for George Brown to return. How the mighty have fallen.....

Double secret probation.

I don’t think we are going to have the luxury of rotating quarterbacks, liberally with Toledo and for that manner FIU. Toledo gave us all we could handle last year.

NKosi Perry can handle FIU and Toledo w/ ease

Good news about Jackson especially with the injury to Rousseau. Richards probably isn’t needed until FSU but he needs game reps to stay fresh. I knew Lingard would move up to third within the first couple weeks of the season.

How did that work out last season? Richards needs the ball in his hands. He needs to be out there. Now, I’m not questioning his injury status, but I’m questioning his injury status.

Obviously not well last year lol. What’s the severity of the injury? A bone bruise? I mean that’s not really a lingering injury like a hammy.

At this rate, he'll be back next year regardless of his injury status.

I don't think they're nearly as good as last year, but Vegas seems to think it'll be close.
