Thought Herbert might be 2nd team - at least we are building good depth

I like seeing Harley in the slot because I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure he was on the outside last year and I don’t think that fits him. Kind of like how Berrios played outside for awhile and wasn’t very productive.

Harley and Thomas in the slot with Cager and Richards on the outside should be a real problem for any defense.

I want The most explosive receivers on the field, the guys who consistently get open and make plays whoever it may be. I love Langham for his heroics in FSU and ga tech but he played soft for the rest of the season and let smaller dbs breakup passes on him that he probably should have caught. With Cager he flashed late but he needs consistency for sure. I know one thing Jeff Thomas better be starting

Hmmmm. Right now with the way the depth chart is for WR1 and WR2 it looks like Langham is poised for a lot of PT behind Richards. It's strange they don't move Pope over there as he seems to be the natural replacement for 82.

@Stefan Adams, I saw on you 26 spots thread you had Jackson starting over Garvin. Obviously Jackson missed spring and Garvin is starting over him now. Do you think that will change by the LSU game?

Richt being fair with the qb rotation and I am good with that. Give Weldon a chance to hold off Williams for #3 and not being demoted due to injury.

We should definitely write off Langham in the preseason again. Worked for us last year.

Was really hoping Herbert would be challenging for an interior spot coming off a redshirt season. Our whole season hinges on our OL coming together and Jahair Jones does not inspire confidence. We aren’t beating top tier programs with grad transfers or true freshman on the OL

Thanks for the update Stefan. Glad to hear the QBs came out sharp and ready to compete.

If Tito Odenigbo or Jonathan Ford can beat out Patrick Bethel, I think the D Line can have the depth we need to be very good.

What I would like to see:
1st Team
DE Joe Jackson
DT Gerald Willis III
DT Tito Odenigbo or Jonathan Ford
DE Jon Garvin

2nd Team
DE Gregory Rousseau
DT Patrick Bethel
DT Tito Odenigbo or Jonathan Ford
DE Demetrius Jackson

3rd Team
DE Scott Patchan
DT Nesta Silvera
DT Jordan Miller
DE Terry McCray or Patrick Joyner
