Five-star offensive tackle Oluwasemiore Olubobola out of (Carteret, NJ) is set to make his announcement.
On Sunday afternoon, five-star offensive tackle Oluwasemilore Olubobola tweeted out that he will make his commitment this upcoming Tuesday, May 12th. The 6-foot-6, 295-pound offensive tackle is choosing between his final three schools in Miami, Notre Dame, and Texas A&M.
According to the Rivals prediction machine, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are the team to beat as they hold an 93.3% chance to land the five-star tackle. Oluwasemilore recently visited the Hurricanes, Ohio State, LSU, and Georgia Tech in a three-week span, but Notre Dame had him two weekends ago where the Irish pulled away from everyone else, as they're considered the favorite.
According to the 247Sports rankings, Oluwasemilore is a five-star prospect in the 2027 class, ranked No. 15 nationally, No. 3 at offensive tackle, and No. 1 among players from New Jersey.
Mario Crisotbal and the Miami Hurricanes staff are continuing to stack top talent to the loaded 2027 class on both sides of the ball. Olu would be a major addition up front with his size. The odds are pointing toward Notre Dame, but can Miami pull one away late? We shall see.
