One thing we’re sure about with Mario is that if he’s too good to be left off the depth chart, he’ll play and play a lot, even as a freshman.

I’m excited for him, he makes up a little for the loss of Schott who I thought he was gonna be a DUDE for us.
 

Wow, after listening to this and hearing Barkate was a legit prospect out of HS I went back and looked. I figured he flew under the radar since he signed with Harvard.

But no, he was an extremely high 3 star, nearly 4 star (#435 in the country, #426 was the last 4 star).

And had reported offers from ND, Oregon, Arkansas, Arizona State, etc. 19 offers in total.

And he chose Harvard over all of them for the degree. Im impressed.

Brilliant decision, by the kid to get the Harvard degree and relationship that will set him up for life after football. Sounds like he has some good parents guiding him.

For sure. Coach knows they'll bounce in this day and age. You gotta put your best eleven dogs out there regardless of age. Pups and grown dogs!
