Bail technique... zone corner at this point. I'm a man to man guy and I'm noit sure about his man to man skill at nthis point. Will be good in the red zonen because of the short area and his length but his lack of man to man skills concern me at this point.

Pete, will Richt use that in Home on Jobe this week before Wednesday, or has that ship sailed? Also, is this the work or is it still coming?

He gone, good riddance to him.

Latest I heard this morning is that Miami actually isn’t giving up yet. But I know you guys don’t want to hear that.

Tells me two thiings: (1) he's a really good prospect. Really good. and (2) they know something is up with this kid and maybe they know he really wants to be at Miami. I've seen this before over the years. There were kids the staff knew wanted to come but it was something else and often it was something with the parents, and probably often, something to do with money. I think the kid would rather be at Miami.

Like I said, the coaches know this kid well by now and they know something about what's goiing on in his head. Saban is absolutely ruthless. I never knew much about Saban, but I watched him for a good number of minutes a couple of Saturdays ago when he was on Gameday. There is something about his personality--he almost never smiled--I've seen and even known people like that and we're up against a near psychopath in recruiting. People have told me I'm very good at figuring out people. I worked in the private sector, private law firms, the federal government. I could smell a rat with some of the people long before anybody else. Others usually ended up telling me they couldn't believe how I figured out the true nature of people's personalities long before they saw the actual evidence of their pathology.

Thanks, Pete. ... Are you going to have Samuel or Surtain on your podcast any time soon? What about bringing in all the Heritage kids together?

I don't think we get Surtain. I've read so much here, other places, I think he's being polite to us. I'd be surprised if he comes. Even from afar, without knowing the kids, I find I am often right. There's enough information out there about him, the gurus who talk to him, then CB to LSU and even Bama before Miami. I hope I'm wrong, but if he wants to spend a few years with Ed Orgeron (or whoever ends up there next) rather than our staff then so be it.

Ivey reallyu is like Artie Burns. Lanky, long armed corner with good long speed.

But Brock....what about Reuben Foster? Don’t you remember how you said we should never give up because of Reuben Foster? Don’t you remember all of your posts about Reuben Foster? Reuben Foster kept flipping between Auburn and Bama Brock...Reuben Foster.

Men I thought this staff learned from last year with that WR. Just don’t learn that shipped had sail. $$$$$ we don’t have it for Jobe.

They seem to have similar frames, at this stage Ivey’s cover skills are more advanced where as burns is faster

W Jackson likely leaving we need CBs that can play right away.

I think he starts I honestly watched his film several time . Smooth and fast I think him getting hurt kept him from being a 5 star . Think about it how many catches has been mad on him this year . He’s the best pure cb in the state and that includes the AH five stars . Wait until he gets the coaching . He’s always been my number 1 cb in this class

Someone grab Mike and tell him what he should be thinking.
Leaving early for what??? To be my UPS guy? Cause he ain't sniffing so much as an NFL practice squad.

Jobe should be past tense in everyone's vocabulary.

Jobed??? Does that make it better.

After everything they did for him Pete especially what was said in the WEZ, I could understand why people are diggin at Jobe and y there isnt a hope that he comes here.

I never saw him in person. I only knew what I read about him. I knew he was ruthless, but I never saw the obvious pathology because I've never seen him other than a sideline shot during a game. I've never seen him interviewed, although I watched part of a video on secondary techniques at a coaching conference while still at MSU. I never saw him in an impromptu situation where he had to interact with other people before. There was something very obvious about his demeanor and his interactions with others. He was not a pleasant person obviously and not at ease around other people, particularly the regulars on Gameday.

That gave me information on his psyche and personality that I was not aware of before. Maybe you've seen interviews or seen him in other settings. I had not. I don't live in Miami so never saw him being interviewed while with the Dolphins. I do think he's got some pathology and that it's not pretty.

I would hate to play for him. I don't see how he could be a players' coach like Jimmy Johnson. I wouldn' want to send my kid to play for him, either.

I think your comment is rather dumb.

Ivey this kid had a very good Senior year, I every big game South Dade was in this kid performed!! Miami is getting a stud here.. Despite all the talk about Jobe and Campbell thru-out the season, commit's like Ivey got overlooked BUT any one who follows SoFla HS football, knows that Miami is getting a straight stud with this kid!! I really feel confident that Ivey and the other 3 UM DB commits ALL have a legit opportunity to compete for PT in year 1..

Ivey will be one of those commits that we heard less about during his recruitment, BUT once he gets on the field people will be shocked at what they see from these kid.. "2018 FRESHMAN ALL-AMERICAN"
