I’m not a fool and I disagree. A couple of guys were hurt by D’no’s scheme but Duke left here as the all time career leader in yargade. Hurns had a monster senior year. Thomas also has a fantastic year before going pro.

The NFL could care less where you played college ball. They care about how you project forward.

Duke would not have been a first rounder if he’d played at Bama, sorry. Based on his size, Benjamin went where he should have. For the most part a huge majority of the guys, with the exception of Hurns, have performed commensurate with their draft position.

The issue hasn’t been player development here lately. It’s been game day coaching.

U’re entitled to your opinion.

so much for the Banda/Patke hire being made to save the recruiting class.

this staff has zero clue about recruiting and especially recruiting the S.Fla divas.

they have some out of this world notion that all these S.Fla kids are dying to come to Miami no matter how bad the season goes or how they recruit them.

They better learn fast cause this program is heading into the ******* in a big *** hurry.

this is like their 3rd recruiting cycle and they still dont get it. This staff is the most naive on the recruiting front that i have ever seen here. They legit only have 2 guys that understand recruiting on the entire roster and even the head man seems to be on cruise control and doesnt get it.

I mean how many times do they have to get kicked in the nuts to realize the need for REAL Contigency plans and keeping recruiting ties with kids. They literally try to lock up their class b4 the season so they can focus on their sh*tty coaching through the season. Its kind of the same with Golden...except Golden. Then they are all in trying to lock up kids 2 years from now. It's confusing

There should be NOOOOO reason UCF Has a better OL class than us.

What are your thoughts on this guy if he were to hit the portal? A take?

This kid, huff and brown were on that STA team right liberty? All three are struggling to my knowledge. And I remember posters here wanted all three of I recall correctly
Yes Solomon played on the STA team with Jahmar Brown & Huff in the 2019 class.

And you can’t really hold it against fans for wanting local 4-star players from schools like STA, it’s not an exact science to know who will be good or not, I mean it’s not like the kid went to Kent St or something, he signed with Michigan coming out of HS lol. So even Harbaugh got his eval wrong...

It’s just a part of the process, it turns out that a lot of these kids just don’t have it & peak in High school.

Do you think they get those rankings if they were not ST Thomas guys?

In most cases no, but it depends on the kid.

Asante Samuel Jr was a STA kid who was pretty accurately ranked, he was & still is legitimately one of the best cover corners in the country & coming out HS he was a high 4-star with a 97 rating.

But yes in general, a lot of the STA kids are highly overrated coming out of HS & absolutely get their ranking because they go to a premier school that always has big time schools recruiting from there.

American Heritage has actually been the Broward powerhouse school that has produced the better talent between the two schools over the last 5+ years, but STA has an illustrious history of always having great players.

Huff started getting offers b4 being at STA.

For my bias i always consider him a Mcarthur kid. He still goes to the Mcarthur games.

I never liked Solomon...undersize and not athletic enough to make up for it. Hes a situational player..similar to Troutmon who we have now
Dam Diaz must have an eye for small undersized and slow players.. sheesh

I’m not surprised at all sometimes playing on a loaded team masks the flaws of these players. And sometimes the kids are overhyped because of the school they play for.
