▪ Miami used a strong first half to defeat Boston College, 78-54, Saturday inside the Watsco Center.
▪ The Hurricanes allowed just one basket in the final eight and a half minutes and closed the half on a 19-2 run to take a 36-19 advantage into the break..
▪ Ernest Udeh Jr. stuffed the stat sheet as he recorded his sixth double-double of the season with 11 points and 12 rebounds to go along with three blocks and three steals. Tru Washington scored 14 points and set a career-high with six steals and finished the game with an astounding plus-30. Tre Donaldson led the Hurricanes with 15 points and three steals.

MIAMI ENTERS THE NATIONAL RANKINGS

▪ Winners of six of its last seven games, Miami climbed into both major national polls Monday, earning a No. 22 ranking in the Associated Press Top 25 and checking in at No. 23 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
▪ It marks the first time the Hurricanes have been ranked since Dec. 11, 2023.
▪ Miami is in the midst of a historic campaign, compiling a 23-6 overall record and a 12-4 mark in ACC play. The 23 victories are the most by a first-year head coach in program history, while the Hurricanes’ 16-win improvement from last season is the largest turnaround in the nation.
