The fourth week of the 2026-27 NFL season will kick off tonight when the Cleveland Browns host the Pittsburgh Steelers at 8:15 p.m.
The first month of the NFL season was a lot of fun, with several former Miami Hurricanes players making big-time plays on both sides of the ball--especially, defensive lineman Greg Rousseau, who has been on a whole different level this season, earning AFC Defensive Player of the Month honors.
In three games, he has recorded a total of 15 tackles, eight tackles for loss, six sacks, and three forced fumbles. His best outing was against the Los Angeles Chargers, recording eight tackles and two sacks during the Bills 24-16 victory.
All season long, he has been a dominant force on the Bills' defensive line. He's a very lengthy edge rusher that uses his pass-rushing skills very well to get in the backfield.
He currently leads the NFL in sacks and is tied with Las Vegas Raiders linebacker Nakobe Dean for the lead in forced fumbles, while also boasting a 23.4% pressure rate on quarterbacks. Rousseau also became the third-player all-time to have three straight 2+ sacks to open a season.
Last season for the Bills, he recorded a total of 46 tackles, seven sacks, and one forced fumble. In 2019 with the Hurricanes, he exploded for 54 tackles, 15.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one pass deflection in 12 game appearances.
Great job 15!
