If Perry ends up being the guy then he has a lot more going for him than most people gave him credit for. As much as I'd like to see Martell and Williams succeed, if Perry wins and has a stellar season, that wil rank as one of the great redemption stories at UM.

Im not sure how you think its to that magnitude, perry is one of the most talented qb's if not the most talented on the roster, he didnt break daunte culpepper's record/s and become the class 6A Florida player of the year by luck!

Simple. He looked like crap last year. His stats were awful. He didn't look like he knew how to read a defense and he looked like a high school QB thrown in a college game with no prep. He made stupid off field mistakes and publicly stated he didn't like watching film. He acted like he didn't care and that's how it looked through his play.

He's apparently putting in the effort and getting good coaching now. If he wins the starting job and has a great season, how can anyone not see that as a great redemption story given his abysmal performance last year?

Be careful.. They flipped on n'kosi like a gymnast... Praying on the man downfall... Really ain't give him a chance once Tate got in... All we heard was jarren this and Tate that and ***** immature nkosi 🤔😂🤣 man still the most talented qb on roster as was he coming out of high school in FL. But now he got people putting pressure on.. And pressure only do two things.. Bust pipes and create diamonds.
I like that last part of your comment. Good stuff!

It's not a redemption story when half the team could have the same story 🤷🏾‍♂️. It's simple that it isn't that simple.. it's funny you didn't even touch on that ancient offense or that anemic o line, or inconsistent wr's, our really anything else besides qb play with not to much extra help besides a few offensive players last year.

Cuz its not. Plenty of players has had struggles year 1 and got better and plenty of guys were immature at 19 years old. The way yall doing kosi is ridiculous.

Did I say it was all his fault? QBs are viewed differently than just another player. Perry's performance wasn't much different than Rosier's, but I don't see anyone making the case that he was misunderstood.

Point is that poor 2018 season reflects on him and a great 2019 will be viewed as a redemption.

Perhaps because that would be backwards for two reasons... One is because rosier is no longer with us so that would be for what? And because also he was a 5th year senior having the worst statistical year compared to a true freshmen.. 2019 would be a great redemption year for us all though.. Not just him.

They need to use that IPF as needed and not everyday. Don't want them to get to used to playing in a climate controlled environment.
I expect they will during the summer. Remember, Greentree has been re-sodded and won't be ready until after Spring ball is over.

Ed is right here in Gainesville I cut his hair. He works as a deputy officer. I wish we had guys like his caliber.

How did you end up a canes fan ? You live up here in gaytor country and your peeps are gators.

Just glad to hear the offense is moving the ball and put up points in the 1st scrimmage. Usually, any offense struggles against the defense initially.

Feely better these guys in shape. Already starting the excuses of the elements taking its toll.

I know it’s the first scrimmage, but this OL needs a miracle.
It was their first practice in real heat that's normal. In the summer u can bet they get more work out there
