Jai Lucas and the Miami Hurricanes coaching staff received some quality news on Friday night.

Bucknell guard transfer Quin Berger, who served as a backup during his time with the Bison, has signed with the Miami Hurricanes on Friday night.

Quin is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound point guard originally from Malvern, PA. He committed to Saint Joe’s out of high school, then transferred to Bucknell after his freshman season. He then spent two years at Bucknell, where he saw limited playing time.

He averaged 3.1 points per game, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game. He shot 32.6 percent from the field and 30 percent from the three-point line.

With the addition of Quin, Miami now has a total of eight players on the 2026–27 roster. Miami has added Somto Cyril, Acaden Lewis, DeSean Goode, and now Quin Berger from the transfer portal.
