Miami Northwestern (Fla.) churns out multiple Division-I prospects every year. This powerhouse program is normally known for their high-powered offense and during the 2013 season Odis Grimes, will be one of the key components for the Bulls.

Odis, who stands 6'4 and weighs 205 pounds, is a big target who glides down the field and can make his impact felt easily as he is one of the most physically imposing prospects in South Florida.

Grimes, who originally played at Miami Edison for the 2012 season, says if Miami offered he would commit right away. He thinks that one of the main reasons he hasn't been offered by some of the bigger BCS-level schools is because he hasn't been able to get his highlight tape out yet. Grimes says it is being put together though.

Grimes says he did attend a Miami Junior day earlier this year and then attended a 'Canes basketball game. Where he said "the fans showed me a lot of love."

"I liked everything they had to offer. I like Al Golden's spirit."

Grimes is going to be a player who explodes on the scene for the Class of 2014.

Grimes who currently holds only one offer, which is from South Alabama, is getting interest from the likes of Louisville, LSU, and Alabama.

Highlight tape or not, Grimes is impressing many people playing with his 7-on-7 team, Florida Fire. This is giving him the chance to improve his route-running ability and his hands.

Grimes should be one 'Canes fans look out for this upcoming season.

Im all for Mike Smith getting offered but your reason for offering Grimes makes zero sense.

he's one of those lets offer any kid who wants a Miami offer and has other d1 offers

Isn't it funny when a kid is lightly recruited and has slim offers they would love to be canes and commit on spot. Can't wait till we get back to point where studs are beating down the door to get in here! If the NCAA mess is resolved during the season and we win the ACC---- it's a wrap recruiting wise. We are doing extremely well, regardless of what others think while this whole NCAA mess and garbage on Gameday. Going to be a real easy sell soon! Hopefully

He will.. The kid is impressive. Probably will have to camp first. But I would say he deserves a look. Don't be fooled by his lone South Alabama offer.

four possibilities

1: we offer and then
A: he does commit
B: he blows up and wavers his commitment

2: we don't offer and then
A: he becomes a legit stud we missed on
B: he just wasn't Miami caliber

most likely scenarios in order: 2B, 1B, 2A, 1A
