Futch was just a bad football player. Grace is the exact opposite.

LULz we offered Futch even tho he got kicked off his highschool team his senior year for being a snot nosed pu$$y

At first I thought Jermaine would be another Tyrone Cornelius/Ramon Buchanan tweener types but I now I think Jermaine has the frame to put on 20-30 lbs amd keep his speed. This kid will slide right into WILL quite easily IMO and is needed more there than at DB where Jamal and Artie will be.

Outta all the pictures in this gallery, not once is he even close to smiling. Want.

Kid is a lot bigger than I thought

That's a mean muggin LB if I've ever seen one.

Miramar LB Jermaine Grace was visited by WR coach George McDonald (who has been the main staff recruiter at Miramar for the past 2 1/2 years) at the school on this past Tuesday. McDonald followed that up with an in-home visit with Grace and his mother on Tuesday night.

While Alex Collins received the headlines for attending Wednesday night's Men's Basketball game against Michigan State, Grace was also in attendance. He told me that he liked the energy and enthusiasm of the student section, and he enjoyed his time at the game, which he spent with fellow Miramar Alums Tracy Howard and Malcolm Lewis, among others.

Grace is scheduled to make his long awaited Official Visit to Coral Gables next weekend, December 7th-8th.

Cameron,
Any chance he pulls the trigger next weekend?

Lets face it, if Miami wants to be a national championship contender we are going to have to be a bigger team like LSU, Alabama, Georgia.

Georgia. The perennial underachievers with one win over a top 25 team & a 4 TD blowout to the other top 25 team they faced. Good thing for them the system is rigged so them ******* one game away from nattie game. Otherwise... do not want.

Jarvis Jones would have been worth two wins a lone this past season

I had the same question. Also, what are his other visits? and it seems odd to take such an early visit if not deciding until signing day, does he play a winter sport?

Grace is a key recruit for this class. Please don't sleep on him just because he isn't tweeting about FSU or de-commiting from someone.

Dude is a flat out baller. Ours to lose and turn loose.

There's definitely a chance. He's very close with Tracy and Malcolm, Duke, Deon and other players on the roster. And, he's a HEAVY Miami lean. And, Golden is one **** of a recruiter.

I'm not saying it's definite, but it's a possibility.

I think he could be a good strong safety in college if he really runs a 4.5 in the 40.

:ohlord:

According to ESPN he runs a 4.57, but I believe he should stay there and make our linebacker positiona force that will once again shape the NFL. If we can snag him and Thomas? That would be incredible with DP and E Jo on the outside.

Can he even commit to us? or does he have to wait for a couple other LBs to say no?

Grace's offer is committable. Figueroa counts towards last year's number, not this year. He's on the short list of priority players for this recruiting cycle. The back-up targets are waiting for Grace to say no to get offered, not the other way around.

Yep, any defensive recruit is big. I think Grace will end up committing soon.

This is my guy. Wouldn't surprise me to see him take over for Perryman as a 6' 1" 235 pound RS Soph.

I had to re-read that a couple times. At first, I thought you were saying he'd come right in and take over DP's spot. I feel you though. I hope he comes in right away and cracks heads on ST and gets a little burn at some point in the season at LB.
