From ESPN:

@jeremycrabtree's take: Carter said he was getting sick of the recruiting game on Tuesday and wanted to take a step back from the attention. But then he announced Alabama as his new leader on Wednesday, causing the attention to snowball even more. Carter has had Bama and UGA in the lead for quite some time, and the two will likely hold their spots unless somebody else can come along and impress him during the fall. Carter still has a lot of visits to take and is nowhere near a decision at this point.

I saw that to probably written before he said what he said or a misprint. UF is his leader right now but it is a long way to go.
To bring this back to Miami Carter naming UF his leader could impact how they go forward with Trent Harris

Can anybody confirm this supposed mutiny against UM going on with Quincy Wilson as the ringleader? Apparently, it started on Twitter and he's trying to sway Ermon Lane and Chris Lammons to not sign with the U solely because Q did not get a deal. It has been said the three are a package deal. I like Q as a safety. Why not offer and get two more great recruits?

No man. You've been a member since January I've know you see multiple people say he's not getting an offer. Not as a safety, corner, or LB. Might as well stay off their twitters too.

So Miami should offer a player they don't like because of two other guys?

I think his attitude and the fact that he committed and decomitted from USF in a 24 hour span, will make coaches look the other way.

The thing is that Q isn't necessarily mad about Miami or hate Miami, he's just created a personal vendetta against Miami because he did not receive an offer. IMO, he's worth offering. He would gladly play at the U. His deterring other talent to come to Miami is more of a cancer than he is himself, and if we can get Lammons and Lane, we certainly should just offer the kid already.

You don't negotiate with terrorists and you don't break down and give an offer to a kid you deemed not having earned it because he stomped his feet and held his breath.

you do know that Golden and his staff would be the biggest joke of all time if they offer him...

It is over and they are not going to do something just because Quincy is. These kids make their own decisions
