What I got from his update is that Miami is legitimately in on his recruitment. Washington ain’t no fool he’s going to take his officials and survey which teams actually uses their TEs. What helps Miami in his recruitment is that they’ve always produced and use their TEs. GA got them Big Bags and are really good at recruiting if he’s saying they’re in his top 3, can’t remember the last good TE coming out of GA. IMO for Miami to Land this kid would be for Miami to utilize Brevin and Mallory (which I believe they will) and win at least 10 games and make the ACCCg competitive against Clemson. If Miami beats Clemson and makes it to the playoffs that’s a plus.

I do think Washington is smart and will absolutely do what he talks about: watch who uses their TE. It will be interesting to see what Coley does as OC with the TE position. Chaney was their OC previously and totally under-utilized the position. Hartley can sell the "two headed" monster all he wants, but if they don't use the TE they have, it rings pretty hollow.

The biggest hurdle for us is the fact this kid will be recruited by the other 5 stars uga has committed. And those not publicly committed but who most likely end up at UGA - like Ringo. Big dogs want to play with big dogs.... Brevin and Mallory need to have big seasons and TVD needs to keep reaching out. If we can get Jake Garcia to commit before ESD, that may also help us with Washington...

So many factors can come into play with this kid... And I also think Bama is going to be a BIG factor here. They feel pretty confident Washington's coach is all about Bama.

Ive been one of the few on record to say that Washington and Flowe are watching us even if its out of the corner of their eye and with a good showing this season we will be at the head of the table for both come Dec/Jan. People forget that if we had a good-great season last year (10 wins at least), showed some resemblance of a competent offense that Jaden Hasselwood would be wearing O&G right now. I believe that even though most probably think he was trolling us the whole time.

5* kids unless they really just love a particular school aren't joining a dumpster fire for the most part. Flowe has a chance to come in next year and be our starting MLB out the gate. He sees that and I know Diaz/Baker are selling him on it. RMarley said hes listening and is very interested. But what are we going to do this season? Ball is in our court. Same with Washington. Stage is set for Mallory and Jordan to have big years. We need to win too. Ball is in our court again.

People seem to forget that coming off that 10 win season two years ago we had a consensus top 10 recruiting class. That wasn't by accident or a stroke of luck. Hold on tight!

Bama board is all bent on the Darnell Washington interview. They keep saying it "isn't an OFFICIAL top 3" LMAO

They also totally discount Miami as a serious contender. We're a "dumpster fire" and a lot of other things...... It's honestly too funny - some of their posters actually think he was trying to throw everyone off by NOT mentioning Bama as his leader.....

Literally nothing in the past decade makes any of that seem outrageous...

I keep hearing Brevin, Brevin, Brevin - and I know he's good - but why isn't Mallory getting some nods? I hope both tight ends get to put on a show this years - it would help with Washington for sure - but it would really help our team if both of them shine.

Brevin will be Mr. Reliable, Mallory more explosive. I know it usually pertains to running backs, but I really see thunder and lightening. Brevin as a blocker who finds seems to move the chains. Mallory as the guy who is unstoppable down the field. Different types of TE's, but both good at what they do if not great.
