Five-star edge rusher Anthony Jones has scheduled multiple visits to top schools, including the Miami Hurricanes.
According to a post by Hayes Fawcett of On3, Jones has scheduled a visit to Miami from May 30 to June 1. He has also arranged official visits to Auburn from May 16 to 18, Texas A&M from June 5 to 7, Oregon from June 13 to 15, and Alabama from June 20 to 22.
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Jones is ranked as the 15th-best prospect overall, the third-best edge rusher, and the second-best prospect in Alabama.
Anthony, standing at 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 235 pounds, is an edge rusher from Mobile, Alabama. He plays for St. Paul's Episcopal High School, where he racked up 84 total tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and 16 sacks during the past season. He also recorded two interceptions and scored five rushing touchdowns on the offensive side.
Jones is also close to deciding on where he will play, according to a post by 247Sports:
“I plan to take my officials in the spring and the summer and probably narrow it down after that,” Jones said.
According to 247Sports, he is crystal-balled to land at Auburn, according to Tom Loy; however, the crystal ball was over a year ago.
