Five-star defensive lineman Bryce Perry-Wright has set a new commitment date.

He will announce his college decision on July 5th at 5 p.m. ET, with a live stream available on 247Sports and CBS Sports, per 247Sports recruiting analyst Tom Loy.

Originally scheduled to commit on July 4th, Perry-Wright pushed the announcement back one day, likely due to the holiday.

Perry-Wright’s final four schools are Texas A&M, Texas, Miami, and Clemson.

A big time prospect, Perry-Wright is ranked No. 34 nationally and the No. 5 EDGE in the country. As a junior, he totaled 57 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and nine sacks.

Off the field, the 6-foot-5, 250-pound athlete also impressed in track and field, posting a shot put throw of 41’9” and a 12.60-second 100-meter dash as a sophomore.

He is the nephew of NFL Hall of Famer and Miami legend Ray Lewis.

If Ray’s nephew don’t come here we got a problem!

Well, we don’t know how close of a relationship he has with his Uncle Ray. I coach some kids that barely even know their uncles, let alone have a real relationship with them….. and some kids that have uncles who are more involved with the kids extracurricular activities, than their parents. So it cuts both ways. Hope we end up with this young man in O & G when all is said and done.

Is Bryce Perry-Wright really 6'5"? I was under the impression that he was 6'2. This would be a monster pickup.
