Four-star (Leesburg, GA) wide receiver Jaden Upshaw has set his commitment date for April 15, he told 247Sports Friday afternoon.

Upshaw is also down to four schools including the Hurricanes. Along with Mario Cristobal's Hurricanes, Alabama, Florida, and Texas A&M all made the cut for the 6-foot-1, 196-pound wide receiver.

Upshaw plays high school football for Lee County, where he led his high school squad to a 8-4 record. Upshaw finished his junior season with 47 catches for 902 yards and 8 touchdowns in 10 games after missing a few games due to injury. He also helped the Trojans make second round of Georgia’s 5A playoffs.

The Hurricanes have a family connection working in Mario Cristobal's favor. Jaden is the younger cousin of Miami wide receiver Daylyn Upshaw, who has seen limited snaps in Coral Gables.

Upshaw is rated as a four-star prospect, ranked as the 64th-best player in the country, the 11th-best wide receiver in his class, and the 5th-best player in the state of Georgia.

Upshaw has several visits coming up, including one to Texas A&M (May 29th), Alabama (June 5th), Florida (June 11th), and Miami (June 19th).

Miami currently has a total of eight commitment in the 2027 class highlighted by new Hurricanes quarterback commit Israel Briggs, and five-star wide receiver Nick Lennear.

Recruiting never sleeps. Check out some of his film down below:
